Adam Conyers is currently CFO of Gedex Inc. a private company developing airborne technology for use, initially, in mineral and oil and gas exploration. Prior to joining Gedex, Mr. Conyers served the Toronto Stock Exchange in various senior roles from CFO to Senior Vice-President, Market Services. During this time, he led a team assessing strategic, financial and operational challenges in consolidating the Canadian equity market place and was responsible for developing and implementing the resulting plans. Mr. Conyers also helped transition the TSE to a for-profit culture, including creatively resolving significant tax issues. Additionally, he served as President and Treasurer of the Toronto Futures Exchange during this period. Prior to his work with the TSE, he held the position of Vice-President at Price Waterhouse Limited where he managed a variety of operating receiverships and a number of formal restructurings under Court protection.

Mr. Conyers holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto (1980) and is a Chartered Accountant. In 1999, he attended the Wharton School of Business’ Advanced Management Program. Mr. Conyers is also a Director of the Durham Conservation Association and the Green Door Alliance.
